Scott & Mary Childers have dreamed of opening a coffeehouse since their Pacific Northwest days.
Well, more precisely, Mary's lifelong dream is to open and run a coffeehouse. And Scott is her "slave", kitchen & every-other-wise. So it all works out!
They opened Alpine Alley in November 2007 and have succeeded in creating a true home-owned, “mom & pop”, Mountainair favorite — a place where neighbors hang out and folks just passing through are greeted, and treated, like neighbors.
